The emerson recorder is telling me that it needs to Open the dvd Tray to install the vhs tape, however, the dvd Tray will not open. I have tried this with and without a vhs tape inside, i also tried leaving the vhs tape inside the dvd tray, but that did not work. I also tried putting the vhs tape into a new dvd but that also did not work, i also tried putting the dvd into a different vcr, but that also did not work. I have tried all different places that a dvd would go, i have also tried putting the dvd into a different dvd player, i have also tried unplugging and coming back to this post. This is the first time that i have had this issue with this product, i have also tried playing back some vhs videos on a different vhs dvd. However, they will not play on this new dvd, i have also tried putting the new dvd into a different dvd player, but that also does not work. But it still does not work, but that still does't work. But the emerson vcr dvd recorder is telling you that it needs to Open the dvd Tray to install the hr (as shown in the image below), however, the dvd Tray won't open. What's happening is that the dvd Tray is telling you that it needs to open, but it's actually opening the dvd player tray, the hr is attached to the back of the dvd player Tray and the hr needs to be pulled out so that the hr can attach it to the dvd tray. The player Tray will not open, the pd-555 compact disc player will not open. The Tray is fabricated of metal and needs a plastic cover to tailor within, the cover also must be removed to remove the compact disc player.
