I had originally purchased this unit for my own personal Corvette to upgrade from just a Cassette to both CD and cassette however the product was damaged in shipping.
The damage areas affected are specifically the fade knob and the plastic on the wire harnesses
The knob arrived bent and I was able to bend it back into position somewhat therefore, the feature likely does not work
