The Delco Radio made for the C5 Chevy Corvette contains 8 incandescent bulbs that have a lifetime of ~1000 hours. After 20+ years, the majority of these 8 bulbs fail and your backlighting becomes dim or non existent. We replace all 8 bulbs with LED bulbs which have lifetimes of 10,000+ hours. LEDs are much brighter and use less amperage (aren't nearly as hot as incandescent). Repairs/Upgrades to address the following Dim Button or backlighting Illumination What happens when you buy this service
1. You send us your Radio (USPS is preferred, please pack carefully).
(We can send instructions on removing it, if needed.)
2. The Radio will be upgraded with all new white 8v LEDs for backlighting .
4. We will mail it back using USPS Priority Mail 2-3 Day and a tracking number (please let us know if you would like insurance or expedited shipping) Please let me know if you would like additional insurance for the item, only basic insurance is covered by this transaction.

This auction is for a repair, not a part. You must package your part so that it will not be damaged during shipping (bubble wrap is preferable over newspaper) Any units that have previous repair work will attempt to be fixed. If they can not be repaired, we will contact you for options.
