Pioneer Elite PD-F107 File-Type 100 Compact Disc Player for Parts/Repair as pictured.
The unit powers up but does not load discs. With the top off I was able to help it insert a disc and it played beautifully. The transport mechanism does not want to change discs: When I insert a new disc in the #5 slot and seek using the buttons for the #5 slot, the mechanism does not move. The mechanism continues to try to load with the loading arm moving in the left-most position. When I put a CD in its jaws(in the leftmost position, prior to the disc positions) it loads a disc and plays nicely. No further testing or attempt at repairs done. A lock screw for the transport has been inserted for safer shipping. It will need removal through the top cover before being functional. Sold as-is for parts or repair.
