SONY Discman D-10 Slim CD Player with Sony BP-100 Battery Pack + Sony AC-930A Charger! Description:
This is a RARE vintage SONY Discman D-10 Slim CD Player with it's original Sony BP-100 Battery Pack, and Sony AC-930A Charger!
I bought this a while back and it didn't work with the generic charger I had, so I ordered an original Sony AC-930A Charger
. I was told the charger worked, and this Discman did turn on briefly, but the disc didn't spin. I left it plugged in overnight, and it wouldn't turn on again. I like vintage electronics, but I'm not a repairman, so I'm selling this AS-IS, not working and hopefully someone can easily fix it, and put it to good use. Physical descriptions:
- The Discman is in great shape, but it does have some flaws. There are some cosmetic marks, scuffs, lost paint, and imperfections on the main D-10 unit cover. Underneath the D-10's cover, the adhesive holding the STOP & PLAY buttons to the top of the unit has dried up, and come off. I have the buttons, and each button has a very tiny spring attached to it; which I also have.
- The BP-100 Battery Pack is physically in great shape, other than a small dent on the bottom edge of the unit. It snaps together with the Discman and locks in place.
- The Sony AC-930A Charger is physically in excellent shape, and the person I bought it from says that it's been tested & working, but unfortunately I can't confirm because this D-10 Discman is the only unit I can test it on.
