Sony Hcd-mx555 Mini Hi-fi ( 5 Md + 5 Cd Changer!) Minidisc Player

Up for grabs is this Extremely Rare, freshly serviced HCD-MX555 minidisc/CD changer mini Hi-Fi system. Just prior to posting this the main unit was disassembled on 10-27-23 having new belts installed in both the 5CD changer and 5 MD changer mechanisms. Those areas should be trouble free for years to come. Both Minidiscs and CDs load up quickly and play perfectly throughout with zero skipping of any sort. During testing, everything works properly, except possibly for the FM radio tuner. The unit is missing the original antenna (manual specifies a single wire 70 Ohm type) but I did try the only type I have access to which is a 300 ohm dipole type which only yielded static as shown in the video demo. It most likely needs the proper antenna, but I'm not 100% sure on that, I would have expected to get at least a couple stations... Otherwise the original AM antenna is there and that portion of the tuner works perfectly. The main unit and speakers are all in great cosmetic shape as well. Included is the original remote, AM loop antenna, 3.5mm to RCA cable, manual, and speaker wires. Please check out all pictures as well as the video demo!
As with most units I sell, I guarantee this to work properly (except the FM radio tossup...) for 60 days from the delivery date and back that up with eBay's 60 day free return policy.
This will be shipped in two separate boxes having the main unit in one, and the two speakers packed together in another. This way I can be sure there there is adequate cushioning and the box won't be too heavy. Ships same or next business day at the latest!
