Sony SCD-XA777ES Super Audio D/A Converter Compact Disc CD Player w/Remote -READ as pictured. “The unit powers up and all functions work except that the unit does not read Redbook (regular) CDs.  It detects and plays the SACD data on Hybrid SACD discs without issue.  The 2nd issue is that, while the SACD always detects and plays, sound does not always come out of the RCA outputs.  When sound does not come out, ejecting and reloading the disc can get it to play when I do it a few times.  It's a mystery to me that I don't have time to mess with.  3rd, the unit needs to be helped when opening and closing the drawer.  The motor spins.  It just needs a new belt and perhaps some lubrication for the drawer.  Sold as-is for parts or repair.  Cosmetically the unit is excellent with light signs of use.   See photos.” Please read the following in full before making purchase or asking about international shipping costs.
