Used Sony 5-disc Cd Player

Offered for sale is a used Sony RCD-W500C 5-Disc CD player/recorder with no remote. The player is in good cosmetic condition with some dents and blemishes on the top from normal use. The player portion works as expected. However, I have been unable to get the recorder section to work. According the the on-line instructions it requires specific types of recording discs and may not copy some protected copywrite CD's. I have worked through the process as best I can but the final "Record" instruction is not allowing the discs I am using to record. I may not have the right media for this function but I cannot be sure. Therefore, I am selling this as a working 5-disc player but the recording portion is not guaranteed to work.
