Up for sale - a 1986 Sony CDP-110 CD player. Selling AS-IS, for parts or repair.
The player powers on and the display lights up, but it won't eject. When the eject button is pressed, the motor is heard running, but the door doesn't move. The DISC indicator goes out a few seconds after the motor stops. It probably needs a door belt replaced, but I have enough 80's CD players already that I have no interest in working on this one. I haven't done any further testing.
Cosmetically it is in fair to OK condition - there are a few scuffs on the plastic in the front, some scuffs and residue on the top, a music store price tag stuck to the side, and the chassis screws are not original and don't fit terribly well. See photos for specifics. Hey, maybe it will be working with a new door belt, or has parts that could be used to fix another deck.
