Vintage GPX cd / TV for Parts, Repair, With Manual

Vintage GPX Portable  CD / TV / Am / Fm Stereo System,  for Parts, Repair, Model# TVP75, Manufactured May 2003.    With Manual. I do not know how this is supposed to work. It was a relative's and has been stored in  my house for years, Has battery compartment for 10 Size C batteries, 5 inch TV screen, Antenna. The top lid of the CD player remains in open position. I'm not sure how to close it. (I'll tape it for shipping. Weight is about 7 lbs. Local Pick-Up is  free.  No cord/ cable included.
